I registered and found out that I am unable to attend. Can I get a refund for the event?No, all entry fees are non-refundable. There are no exceptions. If you are unable to make it to the event, you are still invited to attend packet pick-up and receive this year's fantastic giveaways.

Where is packet pick-up?Packet pickup will be held at the Philip Heit Center for Healthy New Albany (150 W. Main St. New Albany, OH 43054)

Can I pick up my packet the morning of the race?No, there will be no packet pick-up on race day. Packets are only available during packet pick-up. You are welcome to send a friend or family member with your valid driver's license (copies are accepted) or ID to get your packet.

If I am not able to pick up my packet during packet pick-up can I get it after the race is over?No, race packets are only available during the designated times of packet pick-up listed on the race page and the races specific FAQ. You are welcome to send a friend or family member with your valid driver's license (copies are accepted) or ID to get your packet.

Can I pick up someone else's race packet?Yes. You must show a valid driver's license (copies are accepted) or ID for each person's race packet that you are picking up.

Can I give my entry to a friend if I cannot participate?No. Each participant must register himself/herself and sign his/her own waiver. Anyone who participates with another person's bib number will be disqualified. For the safety of the participants it is imperative that the registration data is associated with the race participant. If the race staff becomes aware that someone else has participated in the event with a bib that is not registered to him or her, both the participant and the person to whom the bib is registered will be prohibited from participating.

What is the cancellation policy?In accordance with management staff, city officials and local law enforcement has the authority to cancel the event for emergency purposes such as, but not limited to, inclement weather or threat of terrorism. If such emergency conditions force cancellation, refunds will not be provided as a large portion of proceeds are spent in preparation for race day. Event staff will make every effort to inform participants as soon as possible in the event of a cancellation.

Can a non-participant cross the finish line with me?No. We share in the joy of your accomplishment as you near the finish line; however, for your safety and the safety fellow participants around you, any other person that has not registered for the race is not permitted to cross or meet you at the finish line.

Do you have a recommendation for how to train?Yes. A valid driver’s license (copies are accepted) or ID must be presented to receive your package. There will be no package pick-up on race day and packets will not be available after the event.

Are strollers and pets permitted?Baby Joggers, baby carriers, and strollers are allowed. Pets are not permitted. Unofficial support bikers are also not permitted.

What is RaceJoy?Race Joy is an interactive Race Day Experience with Live Phone Tracking, GPS Progress Alerts and Cheers! We are providing you with RaceJoy as part of the official race experience for the Chilly Chili Mile. Download the RaceJoy mobile app in advance to ensure proper phone setup. Invite your friends and family to track you and send you cheers! Some key RaceJoy features include: GPS Progress Alerts: Receive continual progress updates as you complete your goal. Live GPS Tracking: Remote spectators can track your progress live in a map view. You can also track others. Send-a-Cheer: Receive supportive audio cheers from remote friends & family. Virtual Results (virtual events only): Enter your race-assigned bib number to automatically submit your finish data for real-time scored results. To use RaceJoy, you must carry your phone and activate tracking on the day you complete your race.

How do I submit virtual results?You can submit your results between February 25th and March 10th by following the instructions below. Please remember that you must be logged into the RunSignup account you used to register to submit your results! Navigate to the race page > and select the Result tab > then select Submit Virtual Results
